Bowling action of Pakistan’s Bilal Asif found to be legal

Asif’s elbow extension was well within the 15-degree level of tolerance permitted under the ICC regulations

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today confirmed that the bowling action of Pakistan’s Bilal Asif has been found to be legal, and the player can continue bowling in international cricket.
At the assessment, it was revealed that the amount of elbow extension in all of Asif’s deliveries was well within the 15-degree level of tolerance permitted under the ICC regulations.
He was reported after the third ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare on 5 October and the independent assessment was performed at the Sri Ramachandra University testing center in Chennai earlier this month.
